ACTION 8 UPDATE: Gov. Kay Ivey is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of  anyone involved with the explosive device that was detonated outside the Alabama Attorney General’s Office.

As Action 8 News has reported, the device was placed outside the office of Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall at the intersection of Washington Avenue and South Bainbridge Street in downtown Montgomery. It exploded at about 3:42AM Saturday, February 24, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

A photo and video have been released of a person investigators are seeking. They say the person may have information about the case. They have not called the person a suspect.

ALEA has not released any additional information about the device or if there was any indication of a possible motive.
