MPD: Woman dead in city’s latest homicide

Montgomery police are investigating the city’s latest homicide that left one woman dead.

Maj. Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that officers responded Friday around 7:21 a.m. to the 900 block of Green Ridge Court on a deceased person. Green Ridge Court is just off Harrison Road.

Once they arrived, they found 39-year-old Amanda Warmack, of Montgomery, with fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.

This is Montgomery’s 34th homicide of the year.
