Selma students qualify for FBLA National Competition in Orlando

A group of students from Selma City Schools are off to Orlando, Florida — to represent the state of Alabama in the Future Business Leaders of America — National Leadership Conference.
R.B. Hudson STEAM Academy 8th grader Ciara Perkins won the FBLA Young Leader Award this year — for the state of Alabama.
She’s one nearly a dozen SCS students that are on their way to compete at the FBLA National Conference.
“Being chosen out of so many different candidates across the state of Alabama, it means the world. And I’m just grateful for the opportunity that I’ve been granted,” said Perkins.
Future Business Leaders of America — is a student career-tech organization — that teaches students skills they’ll need to succeed in business.
