Staying hot through Labor Day
Heat index values are likely to go over 100 degrees Friday afternoon and both days this weekend, with actual temperatures reaching the middle and upper 90’s. Some isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected each day, mostly during the afternoon and evening hours.
Rain chances will be slightly higher on Labor Day Monday, but still less than fifty percent for each location in Central and South Alabama. It won’t exactly feel like Fall next week, but we could stay below 90 degrees several days in a row starting Wednesday.
