ACTION 8 UPDATE: Police identify woman hit, killed by van in Montgomery

A woman has been hit and killed by a vehicle in Montgomery.

Montgomery Police Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News that at about 9:07PM yesterday, they and fire medics were called to the area of Atlanta Highway and Sylvest Drive.

Coleman says a woman was found who had died after being struck by a van.

The victim has been identified as 74-year-old Charlotte Hall of Montgomery.

Coleman said the driver wasn’t hurt.

No other information has been released.
