Flood Watch through Friday afternoon
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch that includes Montgomery County, as well as most other locations in Central and South Alabama, effective until 7:00 PM Friday. Periods of rain with embedded thunderstorms will continue today, tonight, and tomorrow, as Tropical Depression Francine slowly pushes northward through Mississippi.
Much of South Alabama has been under a Tornado Watch this morning, and the tornado threat could develop farther north later today as well as Thursday night.
