Human remains found in Opelika

Opelika police need your help after human skeletal remains were discovered.

Opelika police say a person found the remains in woods in the 2600 block of Northpark Drive on Saturday afternoon, December 28.

Opelika detectives asked Montgomery police for help using MPD’s cadaver dog. Today, Montgomery police helped with a search of the area.

The remains have been sent to the medical examiner’s office.
