Selma woman dies in Montgomery crash

23fatalwreckMontgomery police are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a Selma woman.

The single-vehicle crash happened around 4:52 p.m. Friday, March 28 on East South Boulevard at Christine Elizabeth Curve.

Police say when officers arrived, they located a 2018 Toyota Camry at the scene.

The driver, 22-year-old Tyesha Maul, had life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Maul died from her injuries on Monday, March 31.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
