ASU takes down Alabama A&M in game one of the series
–Kelvin Agosto and Juan Cruz each hit two home runs to help power the Alabama State University baseball team past the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 11-1 on Friday at the Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex.
Junior Jorhan Laboy (4-2) started on the mound and picked up the win for Alabama State (14-17, ). The southpaw went seven innings, giving up one run on six hits, allowing two walks and striking out four.
Agosto added eight RBI to his two homer day and Cruz supplemented his own two big flies with a double and two RBI for the Hornets. Senior Kyler McIntosh also chipped in for Alabama State, putting together two hits in two trips to the plate while adding two walks.
