Christians gather to commemorate Palm Sunday
Christians across the world came together Sunday to commemorate Palm Sunday.
St. John’s Episcopal Church in Montgomery held a unique service that featured a live donkey.
A parade started outside of the church before making its way inside.
Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where crowds greeted him with palm branches, hailing him as the Messiah. It traditionally marks the beginning of Holy Week.
St. John’s Episcopal Church has been doing the tradition for over 20 years.
