$5,000 reward offered in 2023 Selma murder case

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a $5,000 reward that leads to the arrest of a 2023 murder suspect.

23-year-old Joseph Goodwin was shot and killed in May 2023 in Selma. Police say he was shot in the chest and burned in his car.

Investigators later identified now 26-year-old Deonte Demon Olds as the suspect in the case and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Olds was believed to be in the Atlanta area in the fall of 2023.
