Montgomery Zoo reptiles moved to make way for demolition of old facility

More renovations are coming to the Montgomery Zoo.

The animals inside the zoo’s reptile facility are being moved to the Reptile Junction, which is near the Train Depot Breezeway

The move allows the zoo to start demolishing the old facility.

The animals and displays inside Reptile Junction will rotate daily and will be a temporary exhibit until design and construction of the new facility is complete.

As Action 8 has reported, the zoo has been raising money to build a new one.

Earlier this week, construction started on the front entrance of the zoo. That work is expected to be complete in a year.
