The Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center needs your help to make Christmas bright for hundreds of residents.
The center is hosting their annual Adopt -a- Resident Program. It makes sure residents get everything on their wish list with the help of the public. Most residents need clothing and toiletries. Over 50 adoptions have been placed so far, but coordinators say there are many more that need adopting.
“It lets the residents know they’re not forgotten. Sometimes we feel that way in life but we don’t want the residents to feel that way,” says Activity Director, Jeanette Dawkins.
If you’re interested in adopting a resident, contact the Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center at 334-566-0880.
