Drive Alabama unites city leaders and citizens to voice their concern for roads and bridges in the county.
Pike County has received funds from A-TRIP, but need more for remaining projects. They were able to resurface over forty-seven miles with funding from A-TRIP. Funding for remaining bridges and roads is estimated to be thirty-five million dollars.
“We get no federal funding for these local roads. Ok, the more and more that they hear the people crying out about these problems eventually we will be heard.”
If Pike County receives funding towards roads and bridges…the decision will be made by the state legislature.
