It is Day 9 of the country’s longest paddle race.
Saturday, we saw the female solo and male solo winners make it to the finish line of the Great Alabama 650, along with several other paddlers.
On Sunday, we saw more paddlers arrive at Fort Morgan.
Michigan native Eric Dittenberg arrived at 4:07 a.m. Dittenberg finished 3rd in the male solo category and 7th overall.
About nine hours later, German paddler Mirko Pruefer finished 4th in the male solo category and 8th overall.

Missouri native Chris Logan is also expected to finish Sunday.
There are still four paddlers working their way to the finish line. They have until Tuesday, October 14 to complete the race.
As Action 8 reported earlier this week, two two-person tandem teams with Alabama ties, Matt Taylor and Bobby Johnson, along with Trey Reaves and John Wellens, finished first and second, respectively.
Florida native Salli O’Donnell and Arizona native Christopher Thomas took home the top spots in the female solo and male solo categories, respectively.
The annual paddle race started Saturday at Weiss Lake in Northeast Alabama.
