1 dead in Troy house fire
Troy police are investigating a house fire that left one person dead.
Police Chief Danny Barron said firefighters were called to the 100 block of Daisy Court in response to a possible fire.
Once they arrived, they found black smoke coming from a single-story home.
Firefighters made entry into the home and located the fire in the living room.
While putting out the fire, firefighters found an unidentified person dead.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
