Juvenile charged in Montgomery homicide

Montgomery police have charged a juvenile in a recent homicide.

It happened just after midnight on Friday, November 21 in the 4600 block of Mobile Highway.

Once officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Kashabe Perkins, Jr., of Montgomery, with life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. Perkins was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

In addition, officers located a juvenile male victim with a life-threatening gunshot wound and an adult female victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police have charged a juvenile male with murder, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and two counts of attempted murder.

The unidentified suspect was taken into custody on December 16 and booked into the Montgomery County Youth Detention Facility.
