Opening date set for Big Mike’s Steakhouse in Millbrook
An opening date has been set for Downtown Millbrook’s newest restaurant.
The City of Millbrook says Big Mike’s Steakhouse will open its doors to the public on Wednesday, January 14.
The Alabama-based restaurant, located at 3251 Main Street, will bring 35 to 40 full and part time jobs to the area.
Action 8 News stopped by Big Mike’s Steakhouse Monday for a preview of the new restaurant.
Mayor Al Kelley praised the opening as a win for both residents and the city’s long-term growth strategy.
“Big Mike’s Steakhouse choosing downtown Millbrook is a strong vote of confidence in our community,” said Mayor Kelley. “This investment brings new jobs, attracts visitors, and adds to the vibrant atmosphere we are continuing to build along Main Street. We are excited to welcome Big Mike’s to Millbrook.”
Big Mike’s Steakhouse owner Mike Cole said Millbrook stood out as a natural fit for the brand’s values and vision.
“We’ve always believed that great food belongs in the heart of a community,” said Cole. “Millbrook’s downtown has the character, energy, and growth we look for when selecting a new location. We’re proud to become part of the Main Street story and look forward to serving this community.”
The restaurant will be open Tuesday through Saturday starting at 4 p.m. until close.
This is Big Mike’s seventh restaurant across the state.
