New hotel opens in Opelika
A new hotel is now open in Opelika.
The TownePlace Suites by Marriott is located off Interstate 85 near Tiger Town.
Officials say the property offers flexible accommodations designed for both business and leisure travelers.
The hotel features 88 rooms, including 25 double rooms and eight one-bedroom suites with king beds and full kitchens. Each suite is designed for longer stays, offering kitchenettes with cooktops, spacious living areas and high-speed internet.
Amenities include complimentary breakfast, a saltwater pool, enhanced fitness room, guest laundry, outdoor fire pit, gas grill and pet-friendly accommodations.
Locally owned and operated by residents of the Auburn-Opelika community, the hotel expands Marriott’s presence in the area while maintaining strong ties to the region it serves. The property is staffed by a local team with decades of combined experience in hospitality and hotel operations.
A ribbon-cutting celebration is scheduled to take place Thursday.
