Alabama League of Municipalities holds legislative advocacy day

State policymakers and municipal officers got the opportunity to hear about legislative priorities and the issues impacting cities across Alabama.

It was all part of this year’s Advocacy Day, hosted by the the Alabama League of Municipalities. It featured a panel discussion with Senate President Pro Tem Garlan Gudger and House Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter.

Attendees were also given information about state elections and an overview of state reporting requirements.

More than 300 mayors and council members from across the state attended, making this ALM’s most attended event ever.
