Troy man arrested for trafficking marijuana

A Troy man has been arrested for trafficking marijuana.

Troy Police Chief Danny Barron tells Action 8 News that on Friday, January 30, members of the Emergency Response Team served a narcotics search warrant in the 300 block of Pace Street.

During the search, narcotics investigators recovered more than three pounds of marijuana, along with items associated with the illegal sale of it.

As a result, investigators arrested 29-year-old Brandon Jamal Maddox.

Maddox was taken into custody and eventually taken to the Pike County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
