Uniontown man arrested on child sex abuse charges
A Uniontown man is behind bars facing charges that include sexual abuse of a child under the age oif 12.
Police Chief Michael Kiser tells Action 8 News that 60-year-old Richard Vanderslice was taken into custody around 6 p.m. yesterday after officers executed a search warrant at his home.
Details surrounding the investigation are unknown, but Vanderslice is also charged with 1st degree human trafficking and 1st degree sodomy.
Vanderslice is being held in the Marengo County Jail without bond.
