Montgomery Symphony to Premiere Freedom-Inspired Work at Davis Theatre on February 9
The Montgomery Symphony Orchestra premieres a new work honoring the spirit of freedom on Monday, February 9 at 7p.m. at the Davis Theatre in Montgomery. Masterworks III: A Time for Jubilee by Nkeiru Okoye is a new MSO-commissioned work honoring the spirit of resilience and freedom.
The program also features Adolphus Hailstork’s vibrant American Port of Call and Aaron Copland’s heartfelt The Tender Land Suite, capturing the hope and beauty of the American landscape.
