A two-vehicle crash leaves one dead in Coosa County

The crash happened at approximately 10:11 a.m., Saturday, on Alabama 9, around 2 miles north of Equality, in Coosa County.

39-year-old Christopher Nunn was fatally injured when the vehicle he was driving collided head-on with another vehicle driven by a 35-year-old woman from Alexander City.

Nunn was pronounced dead at the scene. The 35-year-old woman in the other vehicle was not injured in the crash.

There is no more information at this time as ALEA is investigating the cause of the crash.
