Mainly dry, above-normal warm weather for the first week of March
Monday morning started somewhat cool, with temperatures in the 40s around sunrise. However, temperatures were already in the mid 70s at midday, with a mainly sunny sky.
Monday afternoon remains partly to mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 70s. Monday night looks partly cloudy and mild with lows in the mid 50s. Some fog may form early Tuesday morning.
By Tuesday afternoon, morning low/clouds or fog mix out, leaving our area partly to mostly sunny. Tuesday looks rain-free and very warm, with high temperatures in the upper 70s. Wednesday’s weather plays out exactly the same. High temperatures reach or exceed 80° by Thursday and Friday, if not sooner. Stray showers appear possible each day, though our area remains mainly dry this week.
At one point, it looked like rain chances may rise this weekend, but Monday’s model runs suggest better chances for rain and thunder remains well to our northwest. However, rain chances may still increase a little Sunday or early next week. Although, significant soaking rain looks unlikely over the next 7 to 10 days at this time. Meanwhile, abnormally warm weather continues this weekend into next week, with high temperatures near or above 80°.
