Montgomery County District Attorney to hold vigil from crime victims
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office is holding its annual vigil for crime victims and their families.
As part of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, the “Evening of Remembrance” will take place on Tuesday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl. The event is free and open to the public.
The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office says it aims to bring the community together to acknowledge the loss and heartbreaking journey all forms of criminal violence create and help survivors and victims’ loved ones carve a path towards justice.
Dr. Tonda West, Senior Pastor of Fountain of Hope Praise & Worship Ministry, will serve as the keynote speaker. In addition to being a minister and community advocate, Dr. West is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
