Investigation Underway After Officer-Involved Chilton Co. Shooting
An investigation is underway after a Clanton police officer and a Chilton County deputy fired their weapons, killing a man.
CLANTON, Ala. (AP) – An investigation is underway after a Clanton police officer and a Chilton County deputy fired their weapons, killing a man.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation announced the probe on Monday, two days after the fatal shooting of Michael Lamar Robinson at a private residence in Chilton County.
Chilton County Chief Assistant District Attorney C.J. Robinson says there is video of the incident, but he couldn’t yet release any other details.
Robinson would not confirm whether the man shot was the homeowner.
