Daily Rounds Of Showers & T-storms This Weekend
Little change in our weather pattern over the weekend. This means the daily rounds of showers and t-storms will continue. Rainfall could be heavy at times with passing storms. Severe storm threat looks low but a strong storm or two can’t be ruled out. The good news about all of this wet weather is our current drought situation being impacted. We no longer have any of our area experiencing extreme drought conditions.
As for the weekend, both days will start out similar to what we’ve experienced all week. Showers and t-storms are likely with most activity favoring the afternoon hours. Sunshine will break through the clouds at times and temps should respond with highs in the mid 80s.
We’re beginning to see this wet weather pattern breaking down next week. High pressure will build over the deep south and help trim back the chance for rain. Temps will continue to reach the mid 80s for highs and lows in the upper 60s.
