Orrville man found shot at his home Sunday night

An Orrville man is recovering in a Birmingham hospital after being shot at his home Sunday night.

Twenty-one year old Javon Richardson was found by his father suffering from a gunshot wound at their home.

Richardson was driven to Vaughan Regional Hospital in Selma.

During the investigation into the shooting Dallas Co. Sheriff’s Office deputies learned that a brick had been thrown through a window at the house about two weeks earlier.

“We need help identifying this subject that was caught on camera throwing a brick through this residents window,” said Sheriff Mike Granthum.

“We believe the two incidents are going to be related. It’s some type of feud going on, due to these two incidents happening within two weeks at the same residence.”
