Prattville Annual Mardi Gras Celebration and Parade

For the 12th year in a row, Prattville held its annual Mardi Gras celebration and parade.

It was a beautiful day for a parade as it kicked off at one o’clock.
There were about 100 different entries, from floats, to dancers, horses and even antique cars.
The route took the parade through historic downtown Prattville.
It was a day many have been looking forward to for weeks after a weather delay.

The mayor of Prattville, the Autauga County Sheriff and some of the city councilmen were also on hand.
