Woman arrested in Dalraida Road shooting

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have made an arrest in a recent shooting on Dalraida Road.

According to court records, 31-year-old Sharisse Barrow has been charged with 1st degree assault, discharging a gun into an occupied building/vehicle and discharging a gun into an unoccupied building/vehicle.

The shooting happened around 2:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 19. According to those same records, Barrow discharged an unknown type of firearm towards the New Moon Bar and Grill while in an verbal argument. The shots fired caused several bullets to enter the business.

The gunshots hit a female victim inside causing non-life threatening injuried while causing damage to a vehicle in the parking lot.

The shooting was captured on video surveillance.

Barrow is currently in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
