Christie Dropping Out of Race for GOP Nomination

Sources say that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has suspended his campaign following a disappointing finish in Tuesday’s New Hampshire preliminaries.

Christie finished sixth with only 7% of the total vote. Christie didn’t qualify for Saturday’s debate and being a “political realist” knew that it would be impossible for him to go forward with his campaign, sources say. Sources close to Christie say that he will likely back one of the remaining governor candidates.

We’ll have more from this stories as more information comes available.
