Another Heat Wave Underway
We’re in the midst of another heat wave and there’s several more days of it. Hot and humid conditions will be harsh on us at times. Heat indices will range between 105 to 109 through the remainder of the week and upcoming weekend. Rain chances will gradually increase as the week progresses.
In the meantime, we expect a partly cloudy sky with temps hovering in the 80s throughout the evening hours. Any showers or t-storms will weaken and die out. Overnight is looking partly cloudy with temps dropping into the lower to mid 70s for lows.
Thursday will reveal lots of sunshine and temps soaring into the mid to upper 90s for highs. You factor in the humidity and you’ve got 105 to 109 feels like temps. A heat advisory covers a large part of our area. It’s a reminder that the heat can be dangerous and you should take precautions.
There’s little change expected in our weather as we cruise through the remainder of the work week. A mix of sun and clouds along with hot and humid conditions. Temps may try to reach the 100 degree mark at times. Rain chances will try to creep up just a bit Friday and over the upcoming weekend. Any rain activity should help some combat the heat just a bit.
