Five arrested in Montgomery kidnapping case

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have arrested five people in a kidnapping investigation.

Police say the kidnapping happened today in the 1700 block of Harold Street, which is in a neighborhood between Lower Wetumpka Road and Fairground Road.

Police have charged these people:

Letoya Anderson, 46 – two counts of kidnapping 1st degree
Thearthis House, Jr., 26 – two counts of kidnapping 1st degree
Maurico McLean, 23 – two counts of kidnapping 1st degree
Martize Shine, 36 – two counts of kidnapping 1st degree
Ta’Mareon Bailey, 22 – two counts of kidnapping 1st degree.

All five suspects were taken into custody and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility where they are being held under no bond.

Police say the circumstances remain under investigation. No additional information has been released.
