Woman shot and killed in Montgomery
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead.
Montgomery police Cpl. James Dozier says just after 6PM, officers and fire medics were called to the 100 block of East Woodland Drive, which is just off of South Court Street just inside the bypass.
That’s where they found the woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dozier says while the officers were on the scene, they took a suspect into custody.
He says there is no other information to release.
