ACTION 8 UPDATE: Late this afternoon, the search for a missing woman in Andalusia was canceled. No other details were released.

ANDALUSIA, Ala. (WAKA) – Andalusia police need your help finding a missing woman.

Police want to find 67-year-old Linda May Krieger of Ft. Myers, Florida, who disappeared from a campground in Andalusia.

Krieger and her husband were at The Oaks Family RV Park on Brooklyn Road. He told police he heard her get out of their RV at about 6:20AM yesterday morning.

She suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease with sundowning symptoms and bipolar disorder. She is 5’6″ tall and walks with a cane.

The Covington County Sheriff’s Office and ALEA have joined the search. A helicopter and a canine unit are also being used.

Officers are concerned that Krieger might have sought a ride back toward Ft. Myers, and are looking for any tips that might help them locate her.
