Governor Bentley’s Broadband Plan for Alabama

Governor Robert Bentley on Friday will deliver opening remarks at the Governor’s Broadband Forum in Montgomery.

Over one million Alabamians do not have access to even the slowest and most basic high-speed wireless technology. In the State of the State address last week, Governor Bentley highlighted the need to expand access to broadband.  The purpose of the Governor’s Broadband Forum is to convene broadband stakeholders across the state to review and discuss the Governor’s Broadband Plan for Alabama.

Friday’s event will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Alabama Center for Commerce Auditorium.
