WyLD in the Woods Trail Run Invites Families to Explore Nature At Grandview YMCA in Millbrook
MILLBROOK, Ala. (WAKA) — Looking for a way to get moving, enjoy the outdoors and give back to the community? The WyLD in the Woods 5K Trail Run and Family 1-Mile Fun Run offers a chance to do all three.
The event takes place Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Grandview Family YMCA in Millbrook, where runners and walkers can explore the property’s 190 acres of natural scenery, including peaceful walking trails and a lake.
Grandview YMCA Wellness Director Lisa Hoffman spoke with Action 8’s Estee Morrison about why the trail run is a favorite event and how it encourages families to spend time outdoors while supporting the community.
