Troy University at Phenix City Professor is Found Dead

Police are investigating after a Troy University at Phenix City professor is found dead.

 

The Lee County Coroner’s Office says a friend found the body of Myrna Kathryn Ness in her hot tub just after 9 last night.

 

Authorities say the friend worried after Ness didn’t answer phone calls and went to her Shelton Mill Road home to check on her.

 

Ness’s body is being taken to Montgomery for an exam to figure out the cause of death.
