Alabama News Network Hosts Healthy Living Expo

Doctors say health is something people across the country need to take seriously. It’s one of the many reasons why Alabama News Network hosting the first health expo in the river region.
Businesses, hospitals, and other health corporations showcased their work all in part to help people live healthier lives. According to the Center for Disease Control, Alabama is the sixth most obese state in the country.
Obesity can lead to several issues like diabetes, heart disease, even death.
All the cost to get into the event was one can of nonperishable food.
That all went to the Montgomery Area Food Bank.
