Kids Dig Up Dinosaurs At Montgomery Zoo
Usually you go to the Montgomery Zoo to see the lions and the tigers, but today, kids got to go and discover animals that went extinct millions of years ago.
IT was all part of this year’s dino dig.
About 25 kids came out to learn about dinosaurs and get their hands dirty at an archaeological dig.
The kids put together an entire skeleton.
There were even class sessions where they learned more about how the dinosaurs lived.
“We’ve got nice weather, which is not always what happen during Dino Dig. We also have a very large group which always we don’t fill up, so I’m excited about having so many kids and I got a lot of volunteers that came out to help today, so I’m really excited I think today is going to be a really great day,” said Jennifer Hutcheson, Education Curator at Montgomery Zoo.
