Local Montgomery Woman Wins BIG on ‘Ellen’ Show
The Ellen DeGeneres show is known all around the world for the giveaways of free cars, and cash. One Montgomery woman got the chance to be a part of the fun and not only did she manage to win something for herself, but also for the entire audience.
Meredith Kocan recently graduated from the University of Alabama. One of her graduation gifts included a trip to California to the Ellen Degeneres Show. While on the show she was called by Ellen DeGeneres to play a game where she could win prizes.
Meredith won a trip to Dubai, Cape Town, and $2,000 in cash. Not only did she win a prize for herself, but she also won a very expensive prize for the entire audience. The crowd also received a trip to Dubai.
“I couldn’t get back to my seat in 10 minutes because everyone was hugging me, and kissing me on the cheek, they were so excited,” said Kocan.
Meredith says she’s already making plans for her Dubai trip. As for that $2,000 dollars, she says that’s going into her savings.
