Maxwell Air Force Base Holds 35th Annual Gathering of Eagles
Distinguished aviators are being honored this week at Maxwell Air Force Base, and many of them are sharing their experiences with current members of the air force. It’s called the gathering of Eagles.
12 pilots were honored, ranging from fighting in World War Two, to most recent wars. For the eagles they say they hope to use their experiences in life, and in war to help the next generation of airmen.
This is the 35th annual event. The oldest honorary Eagle is 100 years old.
