Pike County Lake Reopens

Work is complete on a three-year renovation project at the Pike County Lake.

The Lake was closed for repairs to its dam and valve system. Now the lake has 45 acres of water. Renovations were made possible with $850,000 of shared money from the city of Troy and the state. It also includes a new concession area, conference area, and public restrooms. City officials say people have plenty to look forward to when visiting.

“They can expect to rent a boat, they can bring their own boat. they will get a permit, if they have their own fishing license. We need their fishing license, if not they can buy it here,” says Mike Davis of the City of Troy Utilities.

The lake is open everyday from 6 am until 7 pm. It is closed on Wednesdays.
