Montgomery Child in Birmingham Hospital after Near Drowning

A Montgomery toddler is in a Birmingham hospital, after a near-drowning that happened Wednesday.

Police say it happened on Loring Street, which is just off Day Street. That’s where police say a 2-year-old child fell into a pool.

The child wasn’t able to be revived at the scene, and has been taken to a Birmingham hospital with life-threatening injuries.
