Fans are ready for the return of college football

College football season gets closer and closer everyday.  A coaches preseason poll was released Thursday, with Alabama in the top spot.

Fans at Baumhower’s in Montgomery say they are counting down the days until kickoff.

Both Alabama and Auburn fans have high hopes for the season.

Auburn fan Tom Fendley shared, “I think they’re going to be much better than last year, and we recruited well the last couple of years  and I think were going to surprise a lot of people.”

Alabama fan Michael Lykes explained his excitement as well, “Well we got to get the quarterback situation straightened out first, but you know first year quarterbacks, it’s a key at Alabama and we win all the time.”

The Associated Press Preseason Poll will be released August 21st.
