Students Head Back to School in Dallas Co.
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
It was the first day of school for students in the Selma and Dallas area Monday.
Selma City School officials spent the day greeting students and getting rosters and schedules together.
Superintendent Dr. Angela Mangum visited Selma High School and toured several classrooms.
She says a smooth start is important for each school year.
“I was here at 7:30 and watched the students as they filed in,” said Mangum.
“They seem very excited and I had conversations with a few of them and they’re really excited to be back.”
Monday was also the first day back to school for students in the Dallas County School district.
