Selma Man Pleads Guilty to 2015 Burglary and Assault
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
A Selma man is facing ten years to life after pleading guilty to burglary and assault charges.
Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson says Peter Le’Quach broke into a house back in November of 20-15.
He says once inside Le’Quach found a woman who had fallen asleep at her computer.
Jackson says Le’Quach poked the woman in the back of the neck with a knife, then put the knife to the woman’s throat.
“Obviously the victim experienced horror when she woke up and somebody has a knife to her and of course at his sentencing date we’re going to make sure he experiences some horror when he we send him off to prison,” said Jackson.
Jackson says Le’Quach is scheduled to be sentenced in circuit court October 6th.
