UPDATE: Elmore Co. Officials Identify Lake Jordan Drowning Victim

Alabama News Network has confirmed that a man has drowned in Lake Jordan.

Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin says Ned Terry, 31, of Eclectic had been swimming with another man around 2 p.m. when he drowned.

Franklin says they were not far from the docks, about a mile north of Jordan Dam. Respondents tried to resuscitate Terry but the attempt was unsuccessful.
