Troy Package Store Receives National Recognition
A Troy package store owner now has statewide bragging rights.
Pete Jordan of Pete’s Package Store was recently named Retailer of the Year by the American Licensee Association. The award is based on sales and the quality of the store. Jordan started the Alabama Liquor Alliance over 10 years ago. It’s now known as Alabama Beverages Licensees Association. He says his secret to success in the business is simply catering to his customers while providing a responsible service.
“We probably have one of the largest selections of any private package store in the state of Alabama, especially for the wine and the bourbon so we’re very proud of our selection, says Jordan.
Pete’s Package Store will soon be able to offer liquor and wine tastings in the near future, thanks to a working relationship with the ABC Board.
